El coro del colegio ha actuado hoy en el Centro de Mayores de la calle José Martínez de Velasco. La acogida ha sido extraordinaria, ya que minutos antes de salir, nos llamaron de la residencia para pedirnos que nos diésemos prisa, ya que los abueletes estaban expectantes; se acordaban de la vez anterior e incluso pidieron la canción de los cacharros, que ofrecimos como propina. Nos acompañaron tres alumnos de sexto de Primaria con el cajón flamenco, la flauta, el ukelele e incluso la trompeta. Pudimos ofrecer nuevas canciones que hemos estado ensayando en el último trimestre.

Hay que destacar el carácter social que tiene nuestra agrupación, que pretende llevar alegría y energía allá donde nos necesiten; de hecho, el 25 de junio volveremos al Hospital Niño Jesús invitados por la Asociación Música en Vena, y ya estamos planeando nuevas actuaciones para el primer trimestre del curso que viene.​

El martes 8 de Mayo, los alumnos/as de 5º de Primaria asistieron a la VII Edición del Proyecto TODOS CREAMOS del CNDM, bajo la dirección de Fernando Palacios.

En el espectáculo (que propone un viaje iniciático a través del maravilloso bosque de Bomarzo), han participado tres centro educativos y la orquesta Iuventas. Un espectáculo inclusivo en el que también ha participado un grupo con NEE del centro Princesa Sofía.

Como siempre, Fernando Palacios y todo su equipo han montado desde cero un espectáculo multidisciplinar maravilloso integrando la danza, la música y las artes visuales, inspirándose en el bosque de Bomarzo creado por el duque de Orsini, príncipe italiano del s.XVI.

El pasado jueves nos visitó la soprano venezolana Mª José Pire y estuvo con nosotros en el ensayo del coro. Los niños/as pudieron vocalizar con ella y aprovechar sus consejos, pues ella cantó a su vez en un coro escolar en sus inicios. Actualmente es miembro de Zenobia Scholars y de Zenobia Consort.

A finales del pasado trimestre, los alumnos/as de 2º y 3º de Primaria asistieron al Taller de Cajón Flamenco que lleva a cabo Víctor Jerez («Cajón Flamenco en el Aula»). Los chic@s pudieron tocar libremente y acompañar después varias canciones con Víctor a la guitarra y con música grabada que todos conocíamos. Una experiencia muy positiva para todos ya que pudieron tocar cada uno con su cajón durante todo el taller.
